Out and About.

Just a couple of purchases from yesterday. A top coat and nail polish from Skin Food and a gorgeous leaf necklace that caught my eye.

I haven’t been very active on Tumblr recently because it’s the last week of winter holidays and I want to make the most of it. Yesterday, I went out with one of my good friends. It felt so good to chat with someone from school because most of my friends don’t live in the same city as me and went home for the holidays. I had an amazing time just walking around the city with her (in heels no less but surprisingly, my feet were quite fine!) and catching up on some gossip. The weather is beginning to show signs of the approaching spring and I could not be less pleased! I have so many items of clothing just sitting in my closet waiting for the new season.

My friend and I belted out a couple of tunes at KTV (with the help of Breezers. I hardly ever drink alcohol but I like to make some exceptions when out with friends. Even then, I never go past one drink that is virtually non-alcoholic. Like a Breezer or something) and stuffed ourselves until our bellies were twice their size at a korean barbecue. I honestly have no idea what I ate except that it was all delicious! I can’t believe the last time I had Korean food was two years ago on my 16th birthday. So halfway into the meal, my friend suggested we go to this bar called Cat Eye. Apparently, it has a really chill atmosphere and amazing music. Unfortunately, she had to go home early so our plans fell through. In case you were wondering, in China, you don’t need an ID to enter bars/clubs/buy alcohol. Honestly, it’s a miracle how no one at my school abuses alcohol (not to my knowledge anyway). At the end of the day, we grabbed some frozen yogurt for dessert and just chatted about being a senior, next semester’s Cinderella musical (she’s a stepsister), graduation and our plans for the future.
