Who: Reinesque is made up of the French word “reine,” meaning Queen and the suffix “-esque,” meaning like or in the manner of. Basically, Reineqsue is a made up word that roughly translates into “like a queen.”

When: Began August 7, 2010

What: A personal blog with occasional reblogs.

Why: I’ve been an on and off blog for some years now (on Blogger, Wordpress and even had my own domain for some time) but have always given up when I got sick of it. But then I’d always start another. I think my problem was that my other blogs were too high-maintenance . So when I found Tumblr, it seemed like the perfect solution. A simple interface and fun. Thus, another blog was born.

I started this blog, as a place I can spill my thoughts & emotions & be myself. Sadly, in the real world, it is difficult to represent your true self without being deemed as inappropriate or rejected as society. My blog also serves the purpose of helping with my writing as my lifelong dream is to become a writer/journalist and be published by the New Yorker.

You can say this blog is my creative outlet so I post to satisfy myself, not to impress.
